interesting stuff, and pretty much puts the nail in the coffin of my plan to inside train a shorter guy.

Earlier in the season:

19 yo 6'4", 48+ min per week min. PF/C, trnr lvl 4

5 weeks IS- 1 pop
4 weeks ID- no pops
(IS and ID are his weakest skills as well)

(boooo)

Edit: Ammended time spent training ID from 5 to 4 weeks, apologies for the mistake, especially in a compile/analyze thread like this.

Just to be sure - potential is not an issue, right? (interesting info, so i would like to know)

No, he is perrenial-all star

And the skills in question started at Awfu (ID was at inept)l. I am willing to bet he is ready to pop in both, as the only pop came in the first week of his IS training.

To give more complete info, I should note that he also poped in JS the third week of his IS training.

After checking my notes to verify, I made two mistakes in this and the above thread. I apologize for the mistake, especially in a compile/analyze thread such as this. Only 4 weeks were spent training ID, as the A-S week I switched to FT

Here's results of 4-week Passing training, PG/SG... Trainer lvl 6...
Trainees (all 5 have all-star potential):
Vallome 21 yrs,
Tulić 23 yrs,
Tuponja 23 yrs,
Regueiro 22 yrs,
Nuhić 20 yrs.

All of them got full training every week, except Nuhić got only 43 minutes in week 3.

Week 1:
Vallome: Passing to prolific
Nuhić: Passing to average
Week 2:
Tulić: Passing to proficient
Regueiro: Passing to proficient
Week 3:
Valome: Handling to wondrous, Passing to sensational
Tuponja: Passing to sensational
Week 4:
Tulić: Handling to wondrous, Passing to prominent
Regueiro: Passing to prominent
Nuhić: Passing to respectable

I'll continue with Passing for at least one more week, but from this info, I can tell that Passing is one of the fastest trainings.. My players are kind of grandpas when training is considered, and they pop pretty frequent :)

Also, if a player has other important skills better that the one trained, he improves much faster... See Tulić and Tuponja... They are both 23, but Tulić's passing isn't as good as his other skills, and he improved twice, on week 2 and week 4... Tuponja is better passer, so he improves slower... Also Vallome, who is 21, improves pretty quick, and his other skills are about the same level or lower than his passing is... Nuhić, I think, is hit badly for missing 5 minutes of training in week 3...

I'll see it furthermore, but from this data, you can see that there's not much difference in speed of training for 20 and 23 year olds... If there's any difference... I guess difference will be visible only when the potential of one player is fulfilled...

Hi, @ your first post.
few weeks ago i trained FT for a week and 10 of 13 players poped up ;)
So imo it isn't 2.5/2 weeks for Free Throws. After next free throws training i'll tell you if more than 3 players will pop up ;)

Hey guys.

I just had a question about training.

Do you think that training 2 positions e.g PG/SG, equates to exactly half as much training per person as one position (PG).

Or do you think you get more overall training points (shall we say) if you train more postions to be shared out.

I'd be interested in this as it could well mean that it's a lot better to just train 1 position (if you can minute manage that is)

Very interesting question, Calum. I've always thought, perhaps incorrectly, that the total amount of training goes up as the number of positions increase, but perhaps that is not true. Training one position of course gives the most "bite" of training per player, but I think that the total is higher for 2 positions. Juice?
