in my opinion ... if you are not sure what tactics the opponent will use.. don't use GDP ... for me GDP is a double edge sword, you need to guess 200% correct for the GDP to work with our side ... let's take a gamble without using GDP in a 50-50 game... that's my only opinion ...

but overall performance ... two thumbs up to you coach .... you have done many things for this country ... and I salute you for that ...

Good observation. On my part, I dont participate in the forums as much as i would like. Hindi kasi ako mahilig sa politika at makipagdebate. When I ran for nt coach and lost to manager cezz this is what I wanted, a strong u21 program. Over time, other countries have figured us out. Our Senior NT team really needs an overhaul if we want to become competitive sa worlds. I think more Pinoys are training now than compared to the past few seasons.

Four to five seasons from now, our NT team will be harvesting last years team and this current one. No finger pointing for NT and U21 teams. If there is anyone to blame we are all guilty of letting foreign managers train our homegrown draft picks. Lets hope that we can win our remaining games.

a big thanks to those who helped me develop my man, Caesar. hopefully he would join the senior national team in three-four seasons.

Honestly did not think it would be a close game, we still have some work to do. Game could have gone either way. I am confident we can win our remaining games. I think Ivan was just suggesting to not use gdp and let it ride.

I am sure everyone has a different opinion about it. For me, i only use one side of GDP either pace or offensive option. Unless the other team is super predictable i would choose both. Tactics are Morwoods decision, that is why he is coach. It is based on his scouting reports from his assistant coach and his gut feel.

It is a huge advantage to get both right and is a game changer if both teams are not far apart in terms of talent. Lets focus on our next game and put this loss behind us. Move forward Pilipinas we almost beat China!

Train that guy well he will be a key player if you keep training him. How near/far is he from being a small forward?
