I know you might be suspecting me for something fishy.. but.. im doing this not for only my skills to improve but for the improvement of your team as a underdog in the u21. I will promise you that i will make a big impact on the building of this team. I scout teams better than others would say.. I have plenty of time to manage your team.. to have feedbacks with local managers and i will not own the coaching position because im the coach.. it will be us who will manage this team if i would win your elections. :)

I don't think Wolph's initial intention was to be mean...

But I think the general message from all 'n' sundry here is that Japan U21's WILL be coached locally. This is immutable - we have two good candidates, and from what I've been able to learn thus far (I've been playing but a single season), Nippon will go with a local candidate - even to the point of giving a new guy a shot (and thus developing local managers) - over someone who is outside our nation.
That is in no way disrespect to you, nor is it motivated in any way other than being intent on developing what we have here. At least... that's my perspective, and one of someone who's still a n00b... but I am pretty sure I'm right.

Your time would be better spent trying to get a position where you have a chance, because in Japan, when there are local candidates, you have *no* chance. We will vote local.

Thank you for your interest, thank you for your enthusiasm - and I sincerely mean both. Good luck in your pursuit of a national team position...

I know none of you, except one, know me. That's cool. I like the smaller nations on BB succeeding, though, so I was wondering - have you guys considered using a private, invite-only forum external to BB where player skills could be shared and discussed, such as the ones at http://forum.buzzerbeaterstats.com/? It does make it a lot easier for multiple people to gameplan, for assistant coaches to help out, and for other coaches to know what sort of players are not present in the team, what weaknesses there are and what they need to train.

I know it means that managers with an NT player get their player's skills exposed to the rest of the country, but most NT players will be from the top flight, and most coaches would have at most 2 players in there, I think (I haven't checked, so I apologise).

I guess what I'm saying, is that for your NT to prosper, you really need to share the skills of the players on it with other people - having one person in charge doesn't work very well.

Just my input. I'll step out again, now. Good luck, folks - I hope to see you giving China a run for their money in a few seasons, because we're struggling at it :P

Hey Camel!

Thanks for dropping by man. I think this is an awesome idea, sharing info would be an excellent way to assist the team, and ensure that there's a better information flow.

Cheers bud.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the Nippon community for their support to re-elct me for another term as U21 manager to continue the process of building team.

I will post a message on the outlook for the next season in the coming days. You can also expect some posts and communications from me for the recent Draft class over the course of the next days/weeks.

Also, I'm open to any suggestions you may have on how we can manage the team better in the future.

.....Ok, back to work.
