Sounds like a lot of work, but if you are volunteering, go for it. :-)

Now that we have a set time, 2:30 Pm EET, are we good to start scheduling our games?

I will use your time of 7:30 Eastern Time (ET) for when I schedule my games.

Thanks for making a set time, best of luck yall! :-)

Lets also not forget yall, it is 100% guaranteed a mistake will happen, it just is what it is.

I LOVE the preparation and planning, but its just going to be an accident that someone puts in a wrong time, or accidentally forgets to schedule something, or something happens...

We just roll with it and always come back to the understanding this is a game, and in all our years of playing this, its a really cool undertaking yall are doing. :-)

Maybe the simplest way to avoid confusion is to publish a table with the local time of each participant's country, do you want me to prepare it?

Actually this is unfortunately not a good idea, as some countries such as USA and Australia reside over multiple time zones.
Each team needs to be given it's own match time. This is why I asked time zone information from each manager residing in countries with 2 or more time zones in them, and created a list here: (324689.559).

Most likely I will copy this team information from this above list to both official HGL threads today. But I guess it would be necessary also to write some kind of introductory/reminder post as well first, so that process goes smoothly...

I'm trying to take most steps imaginable to prevent that from happening. I think one of those steps is a designated match time, that is given for all teams separately. This, in my opinion shouldn't leave any room for errors, unless of course, one is just mindlessly organizing a seasons worth of matches, which I really hope wouldn't be the case with anyone of us :D

Besides, when the organizing round is ready, all managers will be asked to confirm (and preferably double-check) their schedule to confirm all opponents, dates and match times (that they see in their calendar - should exactly match times that are given on that aforementioned list) are in fact correct. That's easy when you just keep two tabs open in a browser simultaneously...
If those match specs are not correct on some part, then team needs to make another try in arranging PU match with correct details. Yes, they lose one token by doing so, but maybe they'll remember it better because of that later on...
Yes, it will be lots of fun for sure! :)
