Nope, still the black screen.
I know for awhile now the site has been listed as insecure. (a warning by the username and password section on the left side of the main page before logging on to the site)
Maybe my computer has finally blocked the site somehow.

OK to close

after adding the site to my firewall allow list and a computer reboot, it loads fine now
