It's not about the potential but potential plus distribution plus age. Of the ones you posted for me the only one worth buying is the first player you posted. pero at 400k mahal na din siya at those stats.

here is the player in question

MI: 6000
Age: 18
Height: 6'1" / 185 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: mediocre
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: mediocre
Driving: average Passing: average
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: awful

Double atro sa reb at id makes him not really worth it. Plus yung main skills niya walang respectable the good thing about him is average IS already at start. At his height to train his bigman skills will be very slow.

Plilipinas thrashes UAE 137-102

Pilipinas NT started the new Asian Cup season with a 137 to 102 win over UAE. Pilipinas struggled early with UAE keeping pace in the first half but the start of the third quarter saw Pilipinas gain composure and started to erect a considerable lead to win by 35 points in the end.

Marlon Benedicto was solid in the first three quarters as he lead the team with 27 points 11 rebounds 3 assists in 11 of 14 shooting with 5-5 fts. Third stringer Discar chipped in another 27 points 7 rebounds and 3 assists as he logged heavy minutes when Dela Pena (Starting pg) got into early foul trouble and backup PG Mosquera getting injured in three minutes of play only. SG Octaviano was solid also with 21 points 6 assists 3 rebs 2 steals and 1 block as he supported Benedicto in the first three quarters of play. Crowd favorite Johnas Dispo had an off day even with the tactics geared to his kind of play contributing only 6 points.

"We had more fouls that UAE which isn't a good thing. They had 35 FT attempts to our 26. Not acceptable against better opponents. Hopefully that was first game jitters. Some of our best players are so out of shape as of the moment hopefully things will improve the next game against Macau with has a better lineup compared to UAE" said Lolo Smithz NT manager of Team Pilipinas. "I will confess I am not a fan of Discar and was about to leave him off the team but I'm glad he stepped it up when we needed him most. Made me a believer out of him after this game. Hopefully he will shine again when we need him most."

Pilipinas survives Macau 114 -103

Team Pilipinas had a rough night as lowly ranked Macau gave them a scare of their lives in a closely fought game which was only decided in the closing minutes. Team Pilipinas trailed most of the first half but regained composure in the third but the fourth quarter saw Macau threatening a big upset as they were trailing 2 to 4 points only until the last two minutes of the game.

Lyndon dela Pena was cool as ice as he masterfully shot free throw after free throw when Macau went into a fouling spree in the dying minutes making 10 out of 10 free throws to score 20 points 5 assists 9 rebounds and one steal. Marlon "Mr. Consistent" Benedicto again led the team in scoring with 21 points and added 10 rebounds 1 assists but had 5 fouls and 5 turnovers also. Johnas Dispo came to life in the 4th quarter scoring 3 crucial baskets to end his day with 16 points (6 of 8 fts) 9 rebounds and one assist.

Team Pilipinas made 36 out of 47 free throw attempts while Macau 11 out of 17 only. Pilipinas also outrebounded Macau 46 to 36 and shot 38 out of 76 from the field.

"That was a very close game. We were expecting a blowout but Macau had a very nice game that really threatened to upset us but in the end we held our ground and won. Two of our best centers are having game shape issues hopefully when the crucial games are at hand they will have better fitness. One of our best guards Octaviano is out for two weeks with an injury also. I think we can easily say we can get into the second round with the remaining games we have in our first round schedule. Getting to the semis is another story though. We just have to hope and do our best to get there."

Pilipinas dumps Australia 128-112

It may have been a friendly scrimmage but Team Pilipinas wasn't in a friendly mood as they trashed their favorite rival Australia early on in a one sided match 128 to 112. Bigmen Feca and Benedicto combined for 18 of 21 shooting to score 23 and 16 points repectively with PG Lyndon dela Pena in a foul free game added 16 points 7 assists and 4 rebounds to help Team Pilipinas wrap the game early. The normal timid Vescatcho also poured in 29 points mostly in the 4th quarter in a 12 of 16 shooting display.

"It was a nice win but Australia wasn't really at their full strength. They dressed only 9 players with their top center injured for two weeks." said Lolo smithz after the game. "We had great game shape (something I wish would happen during regular games) that greatly helped also in us winning early."

nice going team Pilipinas! Hopefully, that "crowd favorite" Dispo will eventually show us his true value.

mukhang lamang lang talaga sa ekspiryensa ang mga beterano sa team, hehe... matututo din si Dispo ng mga veteran moves dyan sa mga seniors natin sa team. :)

Great effort but no win

Vietnam played like it was no tomorrow against Pilipinas in their Asian Cup match but came up still with a 114 to 100 loss. Lyndon dela Pena is starting to assert his leadership with the Pilipinas squad as he had another great game leading the team to victory with a 24 points, 13 assists 4 rebounds 2 steals and one block performance playing 46 minutes. Marlon Benedicto got his A game on again as he contributed 22 points 5 rebounds and 2 assists with Johnas Dispo dropping 20 points 9 rebounds 1 assist 1 steal and 1 block to crush Vietnam's hope of an upset victory.

The game saw very physical play with two Vietnam players crashing out of the game due to injuries. When asked by the reporters after to comment about how rough and dirty Pilipinas players are Lolo Smithz had this to comment. "We can't control what happens in the court. Sometimes a little contact can cause a player to slip or fall awkwardly. Maybe they had lousy fitness training that is why they are so injury prone."

"Idol ko kasi si Jaworski and si Yeng Guiao. They are the masters of the art of defense. Defense wins games (including making sure their top players get to stay in the bench)" :D

nice win pa din lo.

good to see din na nagcocontribute ng maganda ang mga "in-prime" players natin as key players at nabibigyan ng playing time of the bench ang mga future stars naman ng NT. cheers to lolo and for the future of NT! :)
