From a coding standpoint, the way the code for that page might be written might have already thrown you into a winner or loser slot without a result. Just because the game was already generated, it may have also filled in the same slots in the page as well.

But yeah great question lol

It is a bug, and close to what Apex was explaining. It will be fixed when we fix all the issues with that page. Surely, the outcome is still not known though
