Singapore win 2nd game over New Zealand 93-71.

Tan Ying Liang scored 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead Singapore dominating the last three quarters, notching their 2nd Tournament victory against the Kiwis 93-71.
Yip Su Yeng are second best performers with 17 pts 10 rebs and 6 blocks, which defensive plays ignites Singapore 2nd quarter run and never looked back. Li Jin Yew has 14, meanwhile Mohd. Syamsuri Ahmad & Akhuga Chawla scored each 12 points. Deng Jin Yau come off the bench to spark with 13 pts in 20 minutes.
Kavossy Bacon led New Zealand with 18 points. Darren Fisher with 12 points 13 rebounds and 4 assists.
Singapore will be having an off on next week, and will held a scrimmage against teams accross the globe.

Singapore set for scrimmage game with Taiwan on next Monday.
Singapore youngsters will be helding their practice with Asian Team from Pool A, Taiwan U21 team. Match will be taking place at Japan.
The match will be featuring a special player of Taiwan, Triple Double Machine Chan Haiding
(24397166)
, who has shown real flashes on some of his matches. Recently he just dropped 25pts 20asts and 12rebs on a Tournament game.

Scrimmage : Singapore hold Taiwan 81-74.

They survived, even without two of their bigs on the court.
Singapore raced to their biggest lead 59-44 on 3rd quarter before Yip Su Yeng left after aggrevated his left ankle. Played without Yip and Tan Ying Liang, the reserves still were able to hold on, and Li Jin Yew and Mohd. Syamsuri bin Ahmad were cleaning up on every defensive boards, at the end, Singapore were able to hold of Taiwan with 81-74. Li scored 16pts and 11rebs and Ahmad has 14pts and 10rebs. Yip Su Yeng was apparently going to his way for another strong game, scoring 17pts 9rebs and 3blks in 29minutes before knocked down by Taiwan Pei Kian Chong.

Singapore will be back to tournament game on next week Monday against Pakistan U21 team.

Singapore dismantled Pakistan 99-61

Akhuga Chawla scored 18pts and 6asts, orchestrating Singapore early first half lead 46-22, and having no problem to maintain the lead till end of the game at 99-61.
Pakistan lost their top scorer Amir Yashar Shajariyan (24ppg) just only 3 minutes on the game, rolled his ankle after fouled by Li Jin Yew on a layup. He did not return for the game and Pakistan struggled all the way till the end.
Jahangir-Khan Rao led Pakistan with 28pts.
Singapore next week game will be against U21 Malaysia.
