Is it possible that the BB admin is holding back the free agents? Less top tier talent seem to be available. Normally, there is an influx of nice players after the 4th game of B3 elims and this coming all star break Prices are high across the board. Rookies, vets (most affected 33+), middle priced and yes even badly built players.

It takes a few people to drive up bidding. One manager can bid up to 10-15 (no limit as long as he can cover the bid) prospects on the transfer list and that usually drives bidding. Maybe more managers are doing this now. Even if the subscriber base is 21K but more active, the demand is high. Just my observations.

I think everyone is participating in that price bubble.

Yup, whether they want to or not. You could just as easily have concluded that the price increases are reaching every corner of the game, becoming inescapable.

I see many users talking about the prices going up, but when I randomly look at players they are selling, I often see they are asking more than what they paid. For 28 y old players, few weeks after purchasing the players. I think everyone is participating in that price bubble.


Even if the starting bids are reasonable, over time bids drive prices up way too far.

The supply of good quality free agents is low. I was wondering if the admin is holding back some of the free agents. Day traders are part of the game. The tax penalty (holding period) is suppose to curb that issue. A rebuilding team can really day trade and benefit the most. As long as you are within the the league minimum salary, profit can be maximized. Not sure if Managers are getting smarter (or greedier). Maybe both.

As long as people are buying we can't do that much but wait and see. In my case, I cant sell my vets because i don't have suitable replacements. Some Managers think prices will go down, I just don't see it happening. It has been trending up for the last 3 seasons. Even if you overpaid for guys a few seasons back you can still make a profit. I see more managers training in the future.

BB also has a shortage of good trainers. People are paying 500k for a superior trainer! So now we don´t have trainees, trainers and ready players. BB´s economy will turn into Greece´s economy soon.

I think we are making things worse ourselves too, I usually wait with selling my players until I have a new one, but because I cannot buy a new one for a reasonable price, I don't sell my player yet. If everyone holds their players, supply will decrease and prices rise, thus making the problem bigger. I think we need to sell our players first in order to solve the problem.

Just realize that if you are the first to start selling your player, you get a great price for them because demand is still low. As soon as everyone starts selling, prices will drop so better sell sooner than later ;)
