I wish I have that amount of money. But i'm guessing now that I read all this information about Shot blocking. That its a important skill to have with inside defense.

Heading on the right path so far. Are you?

im fairly confident that themajority of the BB community will not adopt SB or SB based players.

as such, i am starting a new exclusive club.....where members are allowed only if their team has a player whom has blocked 7 shots or more in a game.
im going to call it:

S Club 7

I think the problem is that getting the players to stop SB takes too long; when the changes to the salary formula and GE were made, first we had to analyze the impact of the changes. Pretty recently some of the experimenting teams have concluded the impact is significant enough to adapt your team to. Now we are at the point that this opinion is being spread, and then the masses start to follow by training SB. But until the masses start training SB, a SB player will be hard to come by, because most teams that train them don't sell them. So until that time, LI will still dominate because of the supply for those kind of players. It doesn't mean the system is broken, it just takes time for the adjustments to take effect.

That said, I am seeing increased success with outside offenses too. It seems to me that offenses like motion can be succesful as they naturally boost outside shots, while still having effective inside scoring too (unlike LI, where outside shots get penalized). So I think that with a balanced team, Motion can be a more effective attack than LI.

Pretty hard to use this game as a way to prove ID is 'useless'. This is a playoff game so HCA is a big factor, not to mention we do not know the difference in enthusiasm.

I cannot disclose the results too accurately, but I have been testing at highest levels, and I can confirm this :

- When it comes to blocking opposing big men, a reasonably good combination of inside defense / shot blocking is much moire efficient than a high inside defense alone. Thus a 14/13 player is much better than a 18/9. Not to mention that wages issue are much better in the first case.

Right now I am hoping to find an inside player with decent JS/JR + high ID/SB in order to use outside tactics successfully, all while negating the effect of an opposing LI.
