And those that have been following a 3-2 defense game knows that the positions are not carved in stone. A guard may defend inside and a big may defend at the perimeter. So secondary skill will matter in every game.
I have been using three PG's for my 3 and have tried getting as high secondary skills as i could.
Big men do often contest the mid-range and longer jump shot in the 3-2, both from my experiences running it and going against it. Likewise, the player defending as a C in a 1-3-1 will actually quite frequently defend against jump shots as well, especially if you're playing a rival and his PG has the innate ability to draw fouls every time he freaking misses a shot, not that I speak from experience or anything.
