Today I had a friendly game and my opponent didn't field anyone and I put two players to play as SF and PF for 48 minutes. Why do they only count as "12 minutes played"?

sorry for my level of English, I use the translator to communicate

When your opponent doesn't dress players, any positions you leave blank on your depth chart do not get minutes.

For positions that are filled in:
- Starters get 36 minutes
- Backups get 10 minutes
- Reserves get 2 minutes

So basically, you hit the hazard of the "blank the starters" strategy for trying to get 48 minutes on a trainee.

I understand, I really don't leave them as starters because they end up leaving before 48 minutes unfortunately

Hi Azariah,

Put your trainee as a starter to be safe:

PG, Backup PG, PG
SG, Backup SG, SG
SF, Backup SF, SF
PF, Backup PF, PF
Trainee, Trainee, Trainee

Do NOT keep any other players on the bench. Just select those 9 in total. This works for me for 5 years.
