For each division. I'm in Div. III and both of my big men have strong passing, didn't know if that was good or not.

In IV division respectable is a "good passing" for a big man.

If you play in a league where your opponents dont have multiskilled Bigmen, everything above 8 is good passing. Not many managers have bigmen who are trained in OD. In league 1 or two you might find more, then anything above 10 is good passing I guess.

My personal theory is that it's not as important to have a 'high' level of passing on the big men, but rather to ensure that you don't have anyone with bad passing/handling. I kind of get the feel that the game design here was based on a goal of trying to reward balance and punish imbalance, so having just 7 PA/HA on the SF/PF/C may be better than having 10 on two of them and a 4 on the third.

The way I always went about it is that I would look for big men who had at least 6 in OD/HA/PA, unless I was really desperate for a warm body, and usually I'd wait until I could find one with all 7s or more.

I'm asking because I just bought this guy to play PF for me:

Ignacio Bello (27385336)
Weekly salary: $ 34 035
Role: draws a paycheck

DMI: 106200
Age: 30
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: average

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: sensational
Driving: marvelous Passing: strong
Inside Shot: prominent Inside Def.: wondrous
Rebounding: marvelous Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: atrocious

Experience: strong TSP: 105 (61 + 44)

I'm ecstatic about his driving, handling, outside defense and jump shot. Ideally his jump range, inside shot and passing would be a little better. I think he'll be a solid PF in Div. III. I was just wondering if I could realistically expect 3 assists per game from him.

I prefer putting guys out of position to maximize training, not sure how D1/2 level coaches handle training at that level of competition.

He says that his brother is a piece of trash so that's a questionable family dynamic. Also nice signature, and I'm a HUGE Rocky fan!

That sounds about right. The Bello family is a little dysfunctional. Michele's father moved to Spain and had an affair with a Spanish broad.
