I am definitely a better critique and behind the scenes guy =)
I'm so glad I can get the responsibilities off me...

Anyways back on topic, are any potential candidates going to continue the NT depth chart that I have created and to what extent will it be posted?

What will be the differences you will employ as opposed to how the NT was run while I was babysitting it; also as compared to previous regimes?

In terms of long term NT building, what strategies will be used? A strict training method to impose on managers? Constant email harassing? Or just a general guide and just let them be?
Where do you see that this may succeed and where can it fail?

Aside from winning and the always trying to generate NT activity and interest, what is the 2 year plan?
Are you willing to take established players off the team to encourage younger players to gain experience and as an incentive for aggressive training? Or will it still be the best players make the team? ... or both?

So damian vs beanerz? Interesting :)

1. Chicken or Egg?

2. What would you deem more successful, winning B3 once or consistently winning division I titles in a 200+ user country.

3. Give me a short term checklist if elected.

1. Are you calling me a Chicken, I will kick your....ah nevermind. Seriously I believe the Chicken was first.

2. Tough question. B3 is a huge feat even though many of the teams in it either tank or have no business being there. The top B3 teams are traditionally teams running huge payrolls that cannot be sustained.

IMO consistency is much more difficult and a far better measure of success. Running a competitive team for multiple seasons at the top level is a real challenge, especially if done wile turning a profit.

3. - WIN
- Continue to encourage dynamic builds and develop a long term stratagy.
- Get the NT section on the off site forum back to being active.
- Inform Canadians about the who, what, where, when and how of the NT.
- Follow thru with the great scouting that Z has started and continue to update the list.

Cheers

1. Man, Beanerz beat me to it. I also believe chicken was first, but if we continue and agree on most of stuff then that debate would be boring, wouldnt it? :D

2. And that's why I will disagree with him on this one. Winning title couple years in a row is much harder than winning B3 and manager doing that deserves tons of respect, but the truth is that winning B3 might get you international recognition. So I think I will go with B3 in this one. After all, wouldn't you want to win World Championship once over small successes like just getting there couple times in a row?

3.
- Contact runner-up in a competition and try to convince him to play his role in NT. As I said, I believe 2 heads is always better than one.
- Do scouting (use awesome depth chart that was already created)
- Annoy Stajan once again by consulting callups with others using same method as Bbalin did (learning from the best after all ;P)
- Contact managers of NT players
- Try to get community involved, maybe 1-2 contests.
- Kick some ass

Sorry, been busy and only now noticed it.

I would definetely try to continue the depth chart even if it takes lot of work and spamming managers to reveal their player's skills.

About the differences. I would like to avoid situations like the one with Fairchild. As I said, I have 2 potential NT players in my team, but I won't put them on if the public doesnt agree that they belong there. I will also try to post threads on friday about every game both on offsite and onsite forum (offsite more talking about tactic, onside more general).

I believe that contact with managers that own NT players is important, but I can't really impose training regimes. I dont think it could succeed, because let's face it, most managers care mostly about their own team. So a guide would be a good idea (dont really need to post it on the forum though since we dont need bunch of clones, will just contact managers and talk about the specific player).

I want to keep best players on the roster, unless there is a younger player that really stands out and is 100% sure to be our future star. Then I believe he is worth investing in, but it will most likely be 1-2 players max. And the plan is to contact managers of 24-26 year old players that are close to making NT and try to convince them to continue training.

Why not eariler, this past season I have been trying to get the threads opened as soon as I remember, sometimes right after a game, so I can get some general discussion on the game. Do you think this is something you would do?

@beanerz and damian

You both seem to have the right mindset and a good plan. I think if either of you get elected Canada is in good hands. I may not even vote, thats how split I am on this decision.

Im just kidding ill vote for awsome guy, cause he is awesome ;)

I dont see a point on making a thread earlier than after last GS update before the game. At least on offsite where tactic will be chosen. might open it earlier onsite.

Well, hopefully if either one of us wins we can just team up and do all we can to make Canada best it can be. I am open for co-operation, but unfortunately there has to be one player that will have all the buttons and his name up on the board.

Zmtomako, I was ignoring you as you asked some hard hitting questions :)

The depth chart you created is awesome and would continue to be used by me in the event that I am elected. It is critical that managers know where their players measure up. As I mentioned you have done a great job of posting it and I would continue to do the same.

The long term building of the NT has been a huge downfall of the current NT program. I feel that we need to develop more specific players to be part of specific sets that the NT would want to use. In order to do this a list of dynamic builds would need to be created and managers would need to try and stick to the plan as much as possible. It is my opinion that more balance is required as our current roster is unfortunately rather limited. If you look at teams like the Czech's or Poland you will see that the players salaries are very low based on the performance, this is critical in encouraging players to continue to train NT players. Otherwise they become two expensive and end up on the transfer market on a monthly basis.

The two year plan for me would be to first and formost win as many games as possible. Secondly I would like to continue to grow and develop the training/ long term plans for players.

Under my guidance the NT would take a best team available approach. If that means that we have a bunch of vets then so be it. The goal is to win as winning will encourage interest. I see that there are plenty of young players about to take the step and grab full time roles on the NT and will certainly make those moves and changes as required.
