i have noticed an enormous improvement in the health of my players since i jumped from a level 1 to level 4 doctor -- i realize there is always chance, but with the level 1 i had players out for a month, 2 weeks. with a level 4, my players merely leave the game, ready to play the next game.

now, my question: would a level 5, 6, or 7 doctor be capable of actually fixing an "injured" player during the game, i.e., the player returns to the game in which he was injured? to be more clear: i had a SG get hurt in the first two minutes of my last game -- with a top-notch doc could he have possibly returned after halftime, or even after 5-6 minutes on the bench?

thanks

We call it Taping Injuries specialty ;) :

Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will also help him heal more quickly, but the effect is much smaller than the initial reduction in severity. Doctors can have the following specialties:

* Taping Injuries: There is a small chance that a player's minor injury can be taped up immediately, and he will be able to return to the game at the start of the next quarter.
* Massage: Players who play too many minutes in a given week will not experience as severe a drop in game shape.

asmutual said this is about the speciality, and the speciality is undependet from doctor level so doctor level two with this speciality would be that effective like a level 7 doctor with it.

and my doctor even can predict injuries - few minutes after todays game started, i checked next games enthusiasm level, and in player list there was one of my SG in red, like he would be injured, but he was healthy. Game gone on, and in 4th quarter, guess what - the same SG got injured...
my doc can predict future indeed :P

Game Engine simulates the games during the 15 minutes before the stated game time, so the rosters are probably updated with the injuries on the lineup page.
