Cyprus 72 - Eesti 96

This was a game we could not win. On the positive side we outrebounded a strong opponent and our FG was only 4% lower. The biggest problem is our attackpower and 2 important players having bad gameshape. This was my first game and I hope to get our first win soon. Last season we only won 1 game and I think this season we can win 2 or 3 games. Next up is Ireland. Let's go!

Ireland 83 - Cyprus 91

We won! We won against a team 31 positions higher then us! I was betting on us winning with good rebounding and we outrebounded Ireland by 17 rebounds and gave 8 more assists. That's great! Next up number 4 in the world Russia. No chance for us against them, but let us enjoy this upset for now! Go Cyprus!

Cyprus 72 - Rossiya 96

We lost with 24 points difference, but we weren't that bad against the number 4 of the world. We kept Rossiya under 100 points and our starting SF scored 46 points in 38 minutes. Telios almost made 50% of his shots and ended the game with 13 points. We also had 6 more steals, but this was a superior opponent in every other way. Next up is the mighty Spain. A game we will likely loose as well. After Spain our chances will get better. I promise you that!

Spain 87 - Cyprus 67

This was again an expected loss against the mighty Spain, but we didn't play that bad. We again outrebounded a superior opponent. We had 8 more offensive rebounds. Tatsides was again our topscorer with 23 points, but only our PF Varvitsiotis scored the ball over 50%.

Now it will become interesting against 3 remaining teams we can win against starting with Austria next Monday. Go Cyprus!

Cyprus 85 - Austria 88

Well this sucks! We played against a team 12 positions higher than us and we would have won if our opponent didn't play Crunch Time. Austria appeared to be afraid of us and we proved them right. The bright spot was 20 year old starting center Atsalakis with 21 points and 12 rebounds. He could be very important next season. I have high hopes that we will win the last 2 games.
