I would be against a crunch in that match. You'd have been putting in too much to gain something in one game when you have three left. So I think you did the right thing. Personally I'd have been more likely to TIE it than crunch.

I would not have expected Greece to crunch either. I've had a little contact with the u21 in the past and given that they're a bigger country in BB than us I'm surprised they felt the need. Not sure it helps their season though.

I think also you played quite well last night. Your squad is very good in u21 terms. Things look good despite the loss.

I feel so sorry about yesterday match. We went through with great enthusiasm and after the 1st quarter (13-4) I really thought we can bring this game home but then our perfect defense become a big black hole...

I probably misjudged our offense, but our outside lineup has grown a lot since the start of the season, instead our big men haven't done the same and also our best inside player has had 6 of game shape for most of the time.

Lesson learned, I am alrealdy preparing the best 20y for next season

Very mixed box score. Really strange to see them score so few points in Q1 and then get so many in Q2.

You won the games you should have won. Competed well against the closest team to us and have lost to two teams that always looked difficult to get past. I doubt you could have done much more though I understand your disappointment.

A consolation win in the last match against a good team. Looking at the ratings I didn't expect a win, but I take it as a compensation to the lost against Greece. Maybe there were useful some changes in our lineup due to improvements of some players that haven't played a lot in other games (ex. Greene, has become a complete player through the season).

My only regrets is the lost against greece, as I think we could finish at least 3rd in the group.
Really thanks to all that have contributed and made me enjoy this experience. Now the focus is on the next season team!

Not surprised you enjoyed it. You got off to a great start and the team performed as well as we could reasonably expect all season. I think the ratings look slightly above average for us compared to previous years.

I think you might enjoy next season too. Its easier once you've been through it once, and because there's no election you'll have more time.

Yes you're right! I've also learned a lot of new things.
Maybe next season it would be a more balanced competition. For the moment it seems we could have a better outside lineup, but a worse inside one.

I would like to ask you all a question: I saw lot of GMs that has been training 1on1 consitently, and try to reach a really high level of Penetration. But why don't they balance it with JS (/JR)?
I honestly prefer a higher level of JS rather than Penetration, expecially if I have to go with an outside offense. Am I wrong to think in this way?

You're not wrong. One of the big problems for me is that one on one is always the training that will most increase your player's overall skill level and therefore its easier to just train that than think about developing a well rounded player. This is both a problem with the training in the game and our perceptions of what's best.

There's also a school of thought on your side, but slightly more extreme, that the best combination of training would be one on one with jump range rather than jump shot. I'm not personally aware of the effectiveness of this but I can see the appeal. Especially on a player where JS is higher than JR.
