Damn you Salary Floor!

I am an old vet that has recently returned to BB.I don't really recall the salary floor being an issue during my first stint on BB but what a pain. I am currently 100k below the salary floor. Thankfully I do not need to meet it for a couple months but even that is going to be a stretch. Adding 100k worth of players in this market will cost millions, making millions will take several seasons.

Staying put in div II may be harder then originally thought, especially with the new promotion/demotion stuff.

Thoughts or advice are always enjoyed...

Also, the salary floor is not something that you *HAVE* to meet, lest you be punished. If your salary floor is (for example) 250k, and you've only got 150k salaries on the books - you'll just be charged 250k in salary at the economic update. There's no need to waste money buying players you don't want just to get to some arbitrary figure that you're going to be charged either way. Just work on the best way of building your team long term, and the salary floor will take care of itself.

Thanks for the replies.

I am fully aware that I can buy scrap heaps to meet the floor, just seems like a pity. Obviously results are important so it creates a fine balance of being competitive and training, all while improving the roster and building an arena.

Started last season in division III now in II and loving the challenge ahead.
