What are the 3-4 most important skills for a good Power Forward?

Driving and Inside Shot, if you want an offensive MVP. I had a player with 15 driving and 15 IS, about 9 JS I think. He was a perennial MVP in DII. Then as much ID and RB you can get.

Depends what primary offense you want to run.

ID and REB are two givens for any bigs.

JS is important for any neutral or outside offense, but if you are running primarily inside offenses, Driving and IS is much more crucial.

I am also a strong believer in Shot blocking.... A lot of it is preference.

My general belief:
1. ID
2. IS/REB
3. JS/DRV
4. SB/PAS/OD
5. HAN/JR

I would put a OD a bit higher, because it's the most important thing to stop not-IS powered shots of other PFs... and they can have a lot of it, depending of level of competition. It's sometimes hard to train, but it's worth it.

Yeah, I would personally agree, but once again, there is a lot of options and based on preference.

Here's an interesting concept:

You have 100 skill points to work with. Make your ideal PF that is realistic. Some rough examples/options:

A) Balanced

Jump Shot: 10 Jump Range: 4
Outside Def.: 8 Handling: 10
Driving: 11 Passing: 8
Inside Shot: 14 Inside Def.: 14
Rebounding: 13 Shot Blocking: 8

B) Defensive

Jump Shot: 7 Jump Range: 2
Outside Def.: 11 Handling: 7
Driving: 8 Passing: 10
Inside Shot: 12 Inside Def.: 16
Rebounding: 15 Shot Blocking: 12

C) Outside Oriented

Jump Shot: 14 Jump Range: 9
Outside Def.: 8 Handling: 7
Driving: 7 Passing: 7
Inside Shot: 13 Inside Def.: 14
Rebounding: 13 Shot Blocking: 8

D) Tree

Jump Shot: 7 Jump Range: 2
Outside Def.: 7 Handling: 6
Driving: 6 Passing: 7
Inside Shot: 18 Inside Def.: 18
Rebounding: 18 Shot Blocking: 11

E) Patient for the win

Jump Shot: 18 Jump Range: 13
Outside Def.: 7 Handling: 9
Driving: 10 Passing: 1
Inside Shot: 8 Inside Def.: 14
Rebounding: 13 Shot Blocking: 7

F) LI PF

Jump Shot: 8 Jump Range: 1
Outside Def.: 7 Handling: 14
Driving: 15 Passing: 6
Inside Shot: 16 Inside Def.: 14
Rebounding: 12 Shot Blocking: 7

I would say more passing yeah. Still don't think you need much JR for a PF unless you are running Motion/RnG.

That's intriguing... Ever tried something like this before? The 2 IS scares me but in the right offense, I suppose he doesn't need it.

I couldn't get it to stay low, but I went that route as much as I could with Cheek. He started off with much lower SB, though.
