Restore stamina I think, not sure if there's any other effect.

my impression is that the coach calls for a play likely to work. i take it as a very good sign when my opponent fails to score following a timeout.

my impression is that the coach calls for a play likely to work. i take it as a very good sign when my opponent fails to score following a timeout.

This certainly seems to be true for my opponents. Mine however are either followed by a turnover or a missed shot from the one player who I don't want to have the ball!

Nothing says exciting Clogs action like a timeout followed by an offensive foul.
