Figured I might as well start the season thread. Does anyone know if it's still possible to demote into D5? (I'm guessing not)

Poll:  It's Season 34 in Division IV.4. Just how great *is* the Great 8?

Just the right amount of great
Not so great

It doesn't appear so, I looked at the guys that lost their relegation game and they were just sent to another D4 league.

Thanks for the reply. Wanted to bottom out in D5, but guess I'll start over here then.

ETA- Wow, just noticed that BuzzerBeater is all the way down to 20177 users.... was close to 60,000 at one point.

Wow! I have not really paid any attention to BuzzerBeater in about a year, so what happened? Why did the numbers drop so much?

Also, nice to see a fellow Wisconsinite in the league!

Sorry, guess my reply lagged out 2 months ago! Anyway, there's a lot of reasons why. (BB has finally taken steps to correct some of them). But I think the main problem going forward is just the nature of the BB... slow moving, browser based, adobe flash game viewer, and so on. It's kind of a dinosaur in a way. And BB has zero advertising, so it's doubtful that a bunch of new people will join up anytime soon.

Probably the best you can hope for is that the weekly losses level off soon & we maintain at around 17,000 or so.

Good luck next season & congratulations on your guy winning MVP.
ETA- wow, is that 3 MVPs in a row for him?
