just got in utopia a 4 weeks injrury, I'm sure I'll see him again at the beginning of next season

Talking about injuries BBs should do something cause a 4 weeks at 20 yo means to lose games and this is "normal" but it cancels every possibility for a future in national team. I would prefer to have the lenght of the injuries linked to the ages of the players

If we take a look at real world the long injuries usually hit rookies.

Embiid, Noel, Griffin, Oden - all those guys have been out for at least a season in their first two years in the game. Veterans usually have "shorter" injuries.

injury setbacks are realistic too (d rose or steve nash as quick examples). though i think i would exploit that injury aspect in BB a little bit more.

for example, produce a narrative of the injury for the manager, as in the type of injury your player has. and in case of longer than reported injuries, i would also produce a message to the manager saying "ey, your player recovery is not as expected" or something like that.

cannot be too hard to write that down on the game engine.

It's realistic, but I'm not sure we really need to have injury setbacks (altough they are already there). There is already users asking for removing injuries altogether or at least half the lenght of it.

As for putting lines informing us about the injuries, it might not be as easy. Since the injuries are calculated each day, I'm not sure exactly when you would get the message "oops, we were too optimistic, it will take longer".
Well I don't think there are people who ask for injuries to be halved, most people ask that at least we know what we're talking about when we see the recovery time. Besides we already have the same information in days for arena building (which may become longer or shorter over time). A range in days instead of a vague and dubious number of weeks would be good, especially if a more accurate range is given the better the physio is.

Also having some certainty that a higher level doctor does in fact reduce the length of an injury by a reasonable number of days when it is initially calculated would be nice. I'm saying this because the England NT has played 3 weeks alredy without the starting C and his manager has got a level 7 doctor...

Thats the beauty of the game. Why change it?

Not BBs mistake your NT has only one C.

How you can read "starting C" as "the only C" is mind boggling.

That's just inconvenient. Compare to the way injuries are currently listed, if they had "8-14 days" instead of "1 week" or "15-21 days" instead of "2 weeks", would already be an improvement. Then we all know it might be a day early or a few days late, but that's already a lot more reasonable than giving a number of weeks which is blatantly incorrect or misleading.

Nowhere in the world 1 week = 8+ days, except for this game. Does it not sound like a good enough reason to change?

Besides it's very obvious that the game counts injuries in days and not randomly, because after an injury drops from 2 to 1 week, it usually takes 7 days for the guy to come back.

I'm against removing injuries but I'm all for making people spend optional hospital fees to cut the injury time. Regarding the trainee issue, perhaps we should suggest tha people receiving training after an injury train 'harder' to make up for the lost sessions (ie for a 2 week injury with 3 training sessions missed, the trainee will get a 50% boost in training speed during the following 3 weeks)
