A 41yo - 60 TSP, 3.3k salary player is free agent material these days?

Dayum...

I hope no one injures their elbow patting themselves on the back for extending free agency to this kind of player.

Actually, though, I have seen one or two worthwhile FA's.

Definitely not a player to build a dynasty around, but sometimes those old dudes who have dropped in most skills have a couple key ones (OD, PA, JS, etc...) still high enough to be an acceptable puzzle piece for a short term need (injury, longer cup run than expected, etc...). They also tend to come with a ton of experience as well as solid FT shooting.

Well if no one wants him he retires, big deal? Only bad thing I can think of is taking a part of our limited server resources.

Whats the point in listing them anyways? Those players are bought/sold for ~2-10.000 and nobody (unless he/she has no clue) will buy them for ~35.000. So just another newbie trap (a pretty small though) and a waste of server resources.

Players really need to retire at some point...

His team become BOT recently and he becomes retired today, so sad ... he's not that bad, or I could even say he's a quality big man, so sad to see him retired.

Any tele-conference to be held for him? I want to speak to him, to see whether he wants to come out of retirement and join another team.

Any chance to keep this player alive? He's playing for BOT, and I am afraid he will be retired soon.

Alternatively, could we have a "buy-out clause"? I mean everyone could try to spend certain amount for BOT players, and then that player will be shown in the transfer market. All these money will go to "Free agent".

Current FA rules have been told and explained in the season news.

what are you thinking about the results of new FA rules?

are not too many old players and too many of enjoyable players of 26/30 years who have 70/120k salary go lost?
market is always worst and think are missing many players for try to stop the increse of price, people who start to play need years for can buy a normal player and many i try tutored be bored before they can do amd leave, that is not good for the future of the game.
