it depends of what is intended with extrimely large sum of money, that i think have to be discussed... the idea to tax who only make toons of easy money maybe not competing can be a good idea

10 millions, it's now only 2 good players, even not 2 top players.
Being penalized because you want to change less than half of the starting 5, it's a very bad idea.

And if you force people to spend their money, prices will increase again and again.

it will force hyper-inflation in all markets: players and staff
unless teams decide to put that money into their arenas

BBs shouldn't be vague about this...they need to define the amount or at least give a ballpark number...this affects the long term planning of managers

i agree, i hope that will be not less than 20million if they wanna only tax who not play "normally" and only think to grow their cash

I would probably say that combined with an increase in free agents on the market, encouraging people to spend their cash, rather than save, will actually force player prices down..

I'm leaning towards this continuing to exacerbate inflation.

That said I'm a little confused by the free agency announcement. Does it mean all players < $60k salary or > $60k salary?

It's logical that something like this should be implemented. When I started playing bb, good managers could win Div I by spending 7-8m, and you could reach that level from DIV, DV in 7-8 seasons. Now you need more than 20m (at least in Serbia), pretty soon it will be more than 25m. It takes too much time for new managers to reach that level, and even when they can afford to spend so much money, there may always be some 'tanking for 20 season' team, who can spent 30-40m in a season, and buy the trophies.
I was also planning to have more than 20m in a few season time, so this would affect my team and my plans as well.

I don't have a problem with taxes being high, something like this:
For every dollar, the taxes would raise for 0.0000001%. Which would mean:
- Budget of 0$, weekly taxes are 0$
- Budget of 500k, weekly taxes are 0.25k
- Budget of 1m, weekly taxes are 1k
- Budget of 5m, weekly taxes are 25k
- Budget of 10m, weekly taxes are 100k
- Budget of 15m, weekly taxes are 225k
etc.
So nobody would have more than 15-20m and lower league teams would barely feel it.

Those who are saying that there would be super-inflation if this happens, you're forgetting that it also means there would be less money in the game, so super-inflation may happen in the first few weeks after the taxes are implemented, but after that, it will all be back to normal, the prices may even be lower than they are now.
