Hello,
I would like to ask you guys how much should I rise ticket price for my next season for both of my teams. I won promotion with both teams and now I am unsure what ticket price should I put. I read several topics on forum but some says 70% of maximum some 80% and some even said maximum price ... pls help me so I can be as much competitive as posible ... thx a lot

My main team plays in Bosnia country is promoted from III into II league.
Arena size and ticket price now are (arena is almost full all season):
Bleachers : 11300 (Current Price: $11) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $11)
Lower Tier : 1708 (Current Price: $32) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $32)
Courtside Seats : 310 (Current Price: $99) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $99)
Luxury Boxes : 20 (Current Price: $699) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $699)


My Utopia team promoted from IV into III
arena size and ticket price now are (arena is almost full all season):
Bleachers : 10500 (Current Price: $9) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $9)
Lower Tier : 1100 (Current Price: $32) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $32)
Courtside Seats : 200 (Current Price: $99) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $99)
Luxury Boxes : 10 (Current Price: $749) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $749)

depends on your fan survey.

It some time best to go toward league estimates of pricing unless you have best team in the league.

One thing you can do is look and see what buzzer-manager recommends when you're in your new league.

Something I've started doing to spitball it is looking at the percentage increase in my season ticket holders and adjusting the price upward by that percentage. That's just a recent thing for me, though, and I don't know how well it holds up in terms of promotion bonuses as well, but it at least gives you a numerical method to come up with one potential point. I might increase it slightly more early on to capture the promotion bonus, and adjust based on your success or difficulty in the new league after interconference play.

This formula is from many seasons ago. I don't know if it would still apply, and I beleve it's more useful for when you stay in the same division but your season ticket holders went up/down depending on your performance.

X:previous season holders Y:new season holders
A:previous ticket prices B:new ticket prices

(Y/X)*A=B

Be sure to write down your current season ticket holders before the off-season processing begins.

For a higher division, I would check prices people used in league games (not playoffs) in the league you enter. With your promotion bonus, your fans will come something similar to the top teams until the all star break.

Look at how many and at what cost teams are setting.

I'm going from III to II and have made these changes myself after researching:

Bleachers : 6667 (Current Price: $13) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $16)
Lower Tier : 3040 (Current Price: $22) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $34)
Courtside Seats : 400 (Current Price: $81) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $110)
Luxury Boxes : 40 (Current Price: $410) (Price as of 5/2/2015: $550)

The number of tickets you have in each seat section is crucial. For instance, I already have 40 luxury built. If I only had say, 20 built, I could charge much more. But I want to sell close to 40 each game.

We'll see in a few weeks if these numbers was wise or not.

thx guys for replays and help on this ... yes, I know my arena is small (both of them) ... but in Bosnia league I have Total cash reserves: $ 1 583 932, 0,5 mil that I will get for promotion I will spend on one more average player, so 1,6 mil will go into arena ... my arena should be 35% bigger within 30 days ... with that and with proper ticket price I hope I will survive and stay in DII ... utopia is different story coz I believe I will be expelled in the next season so I will mainly use money to expend arena
