It depends on what you want him to end up looking like, and what his current skills are now. Which player are you talking about?

If it is a point guard, you should train passing and handling up. These greatly influence offensive flow. Jump shot and driving are useful as well.

If it is a shooting guard, jump shot, driving, handling, and passing are all good skills to work on for him.

The order I put them in is the order I think are most important for each type of guard.

First , you need to ask yourself , what kind a player you want, and Manon did gave you an option.
Because he has a low potential it's hard to make a good PG or SG.But you can turn him in a SF.
You could get a skillset like this ,if you want:

10-10 or 12 -8
10-10
10-8
10-10
4-6

But I think you should get yourself a trainee who has at least allstar potential. They are not that expensive, and you can build a PG or SG that can have better passing, JR and OD.

If you want to train this player, you'll have to ignore his JS/JR and focus on his OD, along with HA/DR/PA/IS. He should look similar to the build that Manon posted.
