It seems like a thread about "What is the ideal skill set to start with?" has been hijacked and become yet another wailing wall for daytraders.

To the original poster I would say, "Get the best you can in your draft. You will either train them or eventually sell them to try to maximize your values for your team in this basketball sim. There is no 'ideal.' "

Depends on where my fees are at.

Unless draftee fees are set at 3% cap regardless of your transfer counter.

Its 4% now. Other than that, you've always been able to sell your draftees for the minimum fee. Surely you sold draftees with your previous teams? Or at least checked the fees?

They changed the rules on transfers. Draftees are listed thusly:

You will receive 96% of the sale price after fees.
- This player has been with your club for the entire duration of his career.
- You have sold 9 players in the past 14 weeks.

A draftee has never been transferred. Therefore the changes don't affect draftees, because they were changed to affect players transferred. Clearly not an assumption as far as I'm concerned.
