It's possible depending on your conference to have three straight road games or three straight home games thanks to interconference play (at least at the front end, never checked the back end).
I think it can only happen at the front end. The way the fixtures seem to be designed is to give everyone a home game in the first two fixtures. Those fixtures are reversed after interconference play, and because you never get two interconference games in a row either home or away, its impossible to get three in sequence.
