I mean I just was saying the 50k is a nice asset especially to build my arena and even my team was better lasted year, if you look at us were still decent even though I'm rebuilding my roster

You can make 50k a week by dropping 4 overpriced players you have to pay every week though that you cannot resell for a profit. Plus as their skills fall over the season, you actually start overpaying them. I'm not saying to have no oldies, just not the whole squad.

If you had 4 all star 18 or 19 yo at 3k-5k (costs less than 10k typically) instead in three seasons when all of them are close to their hard cap you could sell them for 200-300k a piece easily. Also you wouldn't need to depend on lucky draws and as I said, you'll earn more money per week due to paying less in salary.

Everyone can run into that one team that they can't beat in the cup and it can come up in the first round or the finals.

The Cup is candy, and it hard to get fat on candy. Get some meat and potatoes.

I wouldnt want to get attached to a Young player because he will be hard to let go. Plus I never keep players I don't need. If your not producing the way I want or your skills drop your gone, period. My goal is to build my arena and keep my team winning. train players takes away from working on game shape. I rather start training when my team is well established (D2 or above). Who knows my theory might not work but I'm 35-7 overall so it's working for now. As long as I can keep a winning record I'm str8. Only fix something when you see it's broken right?

The problem is, you can't *start* training in D II. Well, not and stay in D II at least.

And training players doesn't take away from working on game shape, especially since you shouldn't have to "work" on game shape.

Most importantly, though, you don't have to necessarily let the young players go either. What you can always do, for example, is train five young guards for four or five seasons with two position training (which also means they need lower potential and therefore cost less), and then a group of big men for a few seasons, and you've suddenly got a team that is improving each season and outperforming their salary, plus they'll be custom built by you to play however you want them to. As you start moving up, you can switch to better potential players (I went to better bigs after my guards), and of course at higher levels you'll need to supplement that core with higher quality starters.

I meant have my team and then maybe a couple of trainees to play Scrims but I rather get talent and build my game plan around the talent I have. The only reason I would train is to help my country not myself. That's why I said D II. Training a player for three seasons just seems like a waste when can just get a vet to produce for me now and just get rid of him at anytime. Don't get me wrong I will be training player in the future because I want too see the USA win gold every season (u21 and NT) but I'll train for that reason and not to benefit myself.

That's the nice thing about the game - as long as you respect the rules, you can do whatever you want.
