This depends on his salary. If it's over 22-23k, I advice you to look for a new one.

Your trainee is very good.

I'm not a specialist in training so you should maybe ask for advice to someone else, but in my opinion, you should start training him in OD up to respectable/strong, then train him on 1vs1, up to about prolific. When you train him on 1vs1, I recommend you to give him his minutes on the position of SF or PF. In that way, he'll also get some pop in IS, and that's always a good thing to take.

I think your trainee has the potential to play in the U21 of your country (and perhaps in the NT too) if he's well trained, so I think you can ask your U21 NT Coach for some advice, he's probably more able to help you than me.

Edit : you must at least have a level 4 coach, or superior if you want to be sure to see him in the NT. (But that's more expensive, and not necessary unless you want it.)
Level 4 coach is the best compromise between cost and pop, if you have a coach with an inferior level your trainee will also get pop, but least than what's he could get with a level 4 as you can imagine.

Yeah, you're right.

But I just wanted to signify that give 60-70 minutes at the players aren't a guarantee to give a good GS, because as you said, there's a random factor.
