Well, of the 5 teams coming into the league, the best 2 teams by far have been squashed into the Big 8, making our division even harder and more even than last season.
Whilst the Great 8 will be a battle between LES and GCM once again.

Seems as though things have improved all over quality wise for the division but yeah Jama, you're conference is definately the tougher. Should be a very competitive season. I managed to score two per allstar 18 YO in the draft but undecided on what to do. Have enough trainiee's as it is so I might sell them off. Still don't have the team/bank balance and stadium to successfully have a go this season but I might rattle a few cages. Good luck to everyone and enjoy. I do believe Millers Men will be a surprise and could threaten for the title. They have a solid starting 5 and barring injuries and GS should do well this year.

Anyways, my top 10 predictions for this year in roughly that order.
1) Popenpop
2) Adelaide Airbournes
3) South Victorian Menstrals
4) Balwyn Bandits
5) Millers Men
6) gcmasters
7) Nuthin But Net
8) Lakes Entrance Stringrays
9) Myteam
10) Salisbury North
I think the big improvers will be Millers Men and is my dark horse tip for the title. Good luck everyone and if you're not in there don't take offenese, I know it's early days in the season.

lol yeah I was a little shocked, seems as though South Melbourne are the clear faves(honestly don't think my squad has a chance, they have like 75k+ wages over my side) but I will give it a go, though Millers Men might knock me off. You're boys are in with a good chance Jama, beat the Menstrals and I think you can take out the title. Good luck mate.

I think the wages bill ended up beating him, I knew he was losing money each week.. Red side has opened up, as I had to sell a player as well...

Yeah he had massive financial issues, just a shame he quit rather than sell up and rebuild. I saw your sale and was curious as to the reasons but at least you got him sold while he was still worth a bit.

Money issues for me as well, down about $20k a week, plus with the star player out for a couple of weeks, the season is now shot, will be rebuilding with what I have.

Well that last match ended any slim chance I had for promotion, I doubt the menstrals will have any competition at this rate. 2 major injuries to my side is really going to hurt.
