As that Handling and Passing will probably result in a number of Turnovers, it may be advisable to get both up to at least mediocre or average. That would already be around 7 ups. Doing this, he'd also improve a bit in Driving and Outside Defense because they're secondary trainings with Handling and Passing. After that you may want to work on his Range.

My 2 cents

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

as long he has already the high skills pretty much ok (IS , ID , Block) I would say you start training the short skills and because of height he will become a good SF... as El Duderino said start with handling and passing

Yes, I forgot to add that... After some time of guard training (Handling, Passing...) you might add 1 or 2 seasons of inside training to improve his rebounds, inside shot etc.

However, I can't judge yet how slow that will be looking at his height.

this guy is just the sort that wrecks teams so close to great but with some critical flaws that will cost you so many games over the years

as a big guy you need a lot more rebounds as well as some inside shot and at 6'3'' that will take ages

if you want him to be a sf then you have two pitifuls and an awful to deal with and jr is very slow to train

if you really want to focus on this guy you will be looking at somewhere between 10-15 weeks of jump range training just to get it to respectable/strong

do you really want to do that for a year?

how will that affect your other trainees?

then there is also the handling and passing...

you can do it but i see guys like this on the tl all the time and that is where he belongs

sell him

well 800k for a trainee is a lot but this guy has really great secondaries for a guard 4/6 being respectable already

this is the way to get a solid multiskilled player like the real pros, nt scouts and NT coaches always drool over

this guy is a year younger and already much much better he could be a star some day

considering your most expensive salary is 40k and your next most is 7k i think potentail 7 Perennial allstar with a salary range of 80-100k will be just fine for many seasons to come just keep his skills well balanced and he will be a monster outperforming lots of more expensive guys
