Just tried to clarify further. The problem is that all the options we have are currently not working as intended. I'm sure other people have questions about cases they don't see very often.
I personally witnessed a very weird case. The backup started the game and then proceeded to play all garbage time (while the backup was on the bench). Something like this
(271415.1):
PlayerA/PlayerB/PlayerB
PlayerB starts the game and plays most of the minutes through 3 quarters. In garbage time all other starters are substituted, but that player plays the entire final period.
Incidentally the double bug I reported, would have given you the 44-4 split (or thereabout) that you were looking for.
