While there is a random factor to game shape I'm also certain that the optimal minute count isn't based on just one week but is effected by at least 3-4 weeks and it isn't the exact same for every player. I personally believe that players with higher stamina can play more weekly minutes and those with low stamina need to play fewer.

But this much is certain, keep managing your minutes properly every week and you will ultimately be rewarded with a roster full of high game shape players.

Look at my gs - its been that way for 10 seasons, the worst I had is mediocre on any player - because he got injured for 2 weeks - I rarely get average. The funny thing about GS is that it can increase suddenly even if it is low. 48-75 min per week is still ideal, sometimes exceptions happen. If you have Proficient GS on any player you can go beyond the 75 min but over a 100 minutes is asking for trouble.

Stamina is in direct relation with the game shape. Players with higher stamina is more flexible in relation to the minutes that he played that week.
Optimum is 60 min per week. But players with 10 stamina can play from 30 to 85 min per week and he will have 8 or 9 GS.

I would like to note that it's very difficult for a player to have 10 stamina, because 10.00 is the highest level of stamina a player can have. By the next week, it would probably drop by a few hundredths.

This surprises me.
In my experience, playing a player with 9 GS more than 70 minutes increases your chances of dropping to strong to over 50%.
However, this isn't too much more than the odds of dropping to strong in any other window between 49 and 70 minutes, which is usually around 45% or so.
