I'm against removing injuries but I'm all for making people spend optional hospital fees to cut the injury time. Regarding the trainee issue, perhaps we should suggest tha people receiving training after an injury train 'harder' to make up for the lost sessions (ie for a 2 week injury with 3 training sessions missed, the trainee will get a 50% boost in training speed during the following 3 weeks)

Agreed. I suggested that as a "money drop" for people who have too much money too a month or two ago.

My arena has been within a day of completion for at least 5 days. I figure its one of those time warp thingummies.

I blame lazy workers and the holiday season for the delay. Its cool to make up some stories, don't you think?

Not BBs mistake your NT has only one C.
How you can read "starting C" as "the only C" is mind boggling.

Mind boggling, he says... xD Maybe I am a foreigner with bad reading skills. Or my SwagPhone has an awesome screen resolution, that makes it really hard to read. Whatever.

After all, its only the NT AND you have a replacement. It's not like your totally screwed now.

Nowhere in the world 1 week = 8+ days, except for this game. Does it not sound like a good enough reason to change?

So that's pretty cool, that we have a unique situation here, don't you think? After all, we all love the high complexity of the game and nobody want's to be spoon fed. Those recreational players should go and play NBA Live Arcade mode...

I'm not sure why are you even arguing. A starter is a starter for a reason and in mid sized or small nations losing a starter can be a big thing. You put the focus in the wrong place.
The point was: missing 3 GS updates and 3 weeks worth of games with the highest level and most expensive doctors available in the game is outrageous
At the very least, we need some confirmation from the devs that a doctor level has some impact in reducing the probability of an injury and the length of the injury when it's not prevented. This is something that no user can test.

So that's not cool, that we have a stupid situation here, don't you think?
Labelling 1 week something that might last 2 weeks and more, is just stupid and at best misleading. Besides it adds absolutely NOTHING to the complexity of the game. If you put a 7 day range for the return of the player, instead of the (wrong) number of weeks, you won't mislead anyone nor you will give any additional information compared to what is already given.

Alternatively they should change the label to correctly reflect the highest number of weeks a player can be out for. Currently 1 week means anything between 1-14. When the injury happens it's 8-14 but it will not change for 2 weeks...

I'm fine with injuries, had a couple of 5 week injuries, but I accepted it as a part of the game. Also had some 1-2 week injuries on my trainees, but it wasn't that frustrating, since I trained lower potential guys with cheap lvl 3 coaches. So I basically never frustrated about missed minutes, injuries, foulots etc.

what doctor did you have? Would you say the same if you invested in a lvl 7 doctor and you had an injury to your trainee, who incidentally is also your best and most expensive player and you were slapped with a 5 week injury which may well mean he will miss half a season and more importantly the playoffs?

People quit games for things like this.

I see your point, but that was the advantage of my gameplay. I had low cost, low risk, low frustration level training program haha :) Reward was eventually lower, but I'm happy overall.

couldn't agree more. injuries add only disgust to this game. unless, well, it's your rival who spends 150k a week to get a great player and sees his 150k player get injured for 4-5 weeks, have to spend 600-750k for nothing and have his season ruined. not to mention that when the player recovers his form is so low that he needs 2-3 weeks to get back into shape. ha ha ha. so fun. you laugh now but you're next. injuries happen in real life but how fun are they? the warriors would probably have won last season anyway but it would have been much more fun if the cavs had kyrie, love, varejão available. why have a feature that only reduces the fun just for the sake of realism. anyway, there are many things in this game that are not realistic at all, like training. buzzerbeater is already complex and challenging enough, there is no need for features that only undermine the motivation of managers.

ok, you can minimise injuries by hiring a lvl5+ doctor. i always have a lvl 5 and my injuries have been usually mild and not very frequent, but they still happen and suck. i'd prefer something like a player gets into risk of injury if their form is low. a player with 8-9 form shouldn't get injured. 7 almost never. 4 and he will probably get injured. something like that.
