I think I can get a few more wins and probably avoid a relegation series but it depends on getting good draws.

The other advantage to doing well in the tourney is ranking which seems to help attendance a bit but focusing on the season can do the same thing, especially if you aim to do well in the playoffs (which is not a huge goal for me outside of making into them).

All that said, it looks like it'll be a long season, and I'm glad on the Great 8 side, Big 8 looks brutal.

My pick up is out of survival more than a push for promotion. Sucks that no one else has even been in the tourney for weeks but me. I'm getting hammered in league cause of it.

Also, having the league's best coring gets you a backup spot in the all-star game? Seriously.

This always makes me think of Scott Pilgrim and how Canada is so desparate they have to fight over pocket change. It's Loony.

Actually, your rank does not look bad in your conference. 2nd, 1 win away from first and two more wins than lisboa city who is a big threat now. So I think u have great chances to finish at the 1st place and secure HCA until the Finals.

As regards the ASG, maybe voters got as puzzled as I am by ur scoring machine. 9k and 37 yo seriously ??! He has nice shooting percentages aswell.

The low salary is more about how effective his skill points are. Low points in high valued skills (Rebounding and passing namely) make him seem less valued than he is. I have no idea how he hasn't diminished in productivity yet though. He's like Kobe, without a ballooned salary. :D

I wonder how sustainable other teams salaries are. Personally I will still be making money and have cash in the bank with my roster. I also know DLR hit the 200k mark on arena income so other teams may have other methods of capturing revenue then simply living and dying in the Cup.

I'm not sure if Kobe has good passing skills, I've never seen him pass the ball (just kidding!).

indeed passing is a great skills to fix shooting %. I love it on big guys. Hope for u he keeps his skills until the end of the season.

Personnally I make like +70k per week with one of the most expensive roster (2nd) but good gate receipts (2nd, behind DLR who is just crazy in this area). I cut on staff (except trainer) and scouting. My 70k are more than the league average (50k) so i'm happy with that. Its enough to expand the arena and buy a new player from time to time.

Actually, looking at your roster, it is a lot more expensive than any other in the league : + 65k in comparison to mine (more than one third) and I am 2nd in the league ! So i guess other teams make money by spending less on salaries than u !

EDIT : I read the opposite to what u meant, sorry. Ur guy has low passing. Makes me wonder even more ! I guess he has good outside and inside shooting. I am very careful with low passing players, they can destroy ur offense sometimes. But it works for u, good for u.
