Why is there such a difference between trainer salaries?
A world renowned weekly salary is between 20-120k.

It is because they train at different speeds.
Stick to advanced.
You ask alot of questions, so I think you should read this thread (144856.1)

I think the question is why trainers at the same level who train at the same speed have different salaries. Which raises the question, do staff have unseen sub-levels like players do?

Correct. I'm not asking why a basic trainer has a different salary then an advance one. I'm asking why there is such a difference between same level trainers. World renowned trainer weekly salary ranges from 20-120k. Why?

Also, I have read that thread about 50 times as well as things posted by the mogul etc. There is nothing left on this site for me to read. The only way I can continue to learn is ask questions. The game manual doesn't even have the Overextension tax or the training exemption. Neither does that thread. They need to be updated.

+1 to asking questions, there's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting an understanding of how something works.

My assumption on the salary range of trainers is BB is allowing us options depending on our Economic strategy.

Do you want to pay X amount of dollars (let's say 2million) for a 20k a week trainer or pay Y amount of dollars (let's say 1k) for a 120k a week trainer. When is it feasible to do one over the other? It depends on a lot of variables and what your strategy is.

I like that BB gives us the options and forces us to think about short term and long term strategies.

It isn't a problem, it is just he asks so many questions when he could find the answer in the same thread.

The Guide doesn't cover the specific question he asked. You didn't answer his question either.

I think it's more important to encourage participation in the forum. If new managers were doing what LTJ is doing and the community is receptive to helping and being patient in the help forum, than we might be able to retain more managers.

It's not in the thread.

I guess I'm not making my self clear.

There is a world renowned trainer on the market who's weekly salary is 20k.
There is a world renowned trainer on the market who's weekly salary is 120k.

We are not discussing signing bonuses. We are discussing weekly salaries. I'm not crazy, I did specify weekly in my previous post.

Why is there such a weekly salary difference for the same level trainer? Why would anyone want the 120k/week trainer? Does weekly salary determine a better trainer? If so, how much more 'training' do my players get? What is the benefit?

I'm not sure how much more clear to make this.

It's ok if no one knows but please don't thread me to the basic rules. If you want to do that then find the specific instance/literature that answers the question and copy paste it in your answer. Do this for everyone, not just me.

I think in the past I noticed that if a staff member was fired, he'd go on the TL at his current price. If he fails to get hired, he may then reduce his salary demand some, though I don't think I ever looked into it any further, let alone documenting any of it. The only situation where I saw some possible utility was with minimal level staff members, which I think would never show on the staff search because you could only start at level 2, but I think you could still find after firing them using a direct link if you had saved that.

Yes that does help.

I do understand investment but was looking for more of a game related answer which you gave, so thank you.
