I am stealing this straight from the USA NBBA boards and I don't care. Currently I would consider our National Team to be pretty decent, on the verge of being a top 10 team in the world. To reach the next level, we are going to need to train some big time players and preferably keep them in Canada so we can keep a better eye on their training and their game shape. Here's where you guys come in to play.

Naismith is full of the best managers in Canada and also the ones with the deepest bank accounts. I am hoping that I can convince you guys to start looking to keep some of NT players and prospects in Canada. Right now we have 5 NT players in Naismith: Essa Abu- Kaleel and Geoff Abbott on the Philosopher Kings, Momar Maja on Beanz Odyssey, Jabir Issa on Pokey Stars, and Paul Gaize on Pain Train PRO. Myself, Herman Griffins, and Lawrence Park Panthers all have prospects that are ready to make the NT next season.

So in this thread I will let you know when NT Caliber players are on the TL at a decent or fair price. You will then buy them! And to the tankers, grab a big man and give them one on one or work on their secondaries for a season so we have some good players and you are at the salary floor!

So this thread is good as long as it doesn't turn into blatant advertising. Let's keep it that way.

(7972131) Ed Mathews

Let's start with the next guard call up to the NT team and for only $1 000 000 he could be yours.

(7971662) Jabir Issa

Current NT player, probably for another season after this. Ususally hates good game shape, but he has been known to put up some huge points.

I'd love to, but my pockets aren't that deep right now and I have to make sure I can continue to afford Stronks as I raise his salary each season.

Great idea Greerzilla!

Can I suggest we also use this spot for U21 Players?

I see no issues with this as long as everyone respects the NO ADVERTISING rules.

I am an idiot for wasting so much money, I definitely prefer to have Canadian talent, and wish I had saved some money to pick up a Matthews, or even TSA who was up a little earlier.

Of course we can use it for U21 players. Let's try to keep this list updated and see if we can keep some of the studs in Canada.

If I could afford to purchase or own one, or drafted someone who wasn't allstar potential 2nd overall, I'd probably have one. Maybe some day.

When I do eventually decide to slow down/quit, I'll look to buy a few young NT players or guys on the cusp to train and maintain GS while my funds dry up.

Alright, what kinds of players though? Any random 18-21 year old in the database or welltrained 20-21 year olds with chances at making the team with continued training?
