BBB Announces Roster Moves with Championship Vision in Focus
As General Manager of BBB Basketball, I want to formally announce the release of Lauro Cardosinho, Miikka Souvirta, and Zdzislaw Buhl from our roster. These three players have each contributed to our journey and growth as a team, and we are genuinely grateful for their effort, professionalism, and time with us. That said, after careful evaluation, we felt it was time to move in a new direction as we continue to pursue our ultimate goal: winning a championship.
In their place, we’re excited to welcome a new wave of talent that reflects both our competitive urgency and long-term vision. Earle Bergman brings elite offensive instincts and floor leadership as a dynamic point guard. Evalds Vilkins gives us a dominant paint presence on both ends of the court, commanding respect in the post and on the glass. Ivo Poiny strengthens our perimeter with his 3-and-D versatility and secondary playmaking ability. Arda Urum, a stretch four with deep range and a fearless shot-making mentality, gives us a game-changer who can alter matchups and open the floor in ways we haven’t had before.
These additions not only complement our existing core but also raise the ceiling of what we believe this team can achieve this season.
At the same time, we want to emphasize that we are not just building for now—we're building for the future. Our commitment to developing young talent remains as strong as ever. We are actively working with our rising players to ensure they are ready to contribute both in the present and in the seasons ahead. Championship cultures are not built overnight—they are built through vision, balance, and relentless commitment.
