The USA U21 team brings home a gold medal in the Season 57 World Championship, with a hard-fought victory over Poland in the finals
(65477). This completes an incredible undefeated season! This is the first championship for the USA U21 team since season 29.
Village Idiots big man Cameron Penn was an integral part of this roster throughout the season, and many observers considered him the U21 team MVP. Floyd Hearn was also called up late in the season to contribute. Both players have been elected to the Village Idiots Hall of Fame in recognition of their incredible play.
Despite their success (or maybe because of it), this marks the end of the road for both players on the Idiots' club team. The manager is listing them for transfer, as their salaries have become unaffordable. Best of luck to both players.
