Today, manager of LionPride, Oriolekid, has declared, once again, his intentions for u21 management.
Superstar Michael Coley when reached for comment, ‘’Thats a joke right? Man sat me on the bench for game 2 of the finals last season after I put up 50 points in game 1.’’
Young starlet Clement Holley had a different reaction. ‘’ Good. That old coach said I needed to work on something called defense to make the team. I had never even heard of that word before that.’’
Oriolekid has run for a record 12 U21 contests, coming in 2nd 7 times. The closest in Season 34 when he lost by only 5 votes, a heartbreaker indeed after he held the lead at the polls up until he was quoted as saying ‘’ID on guards is overrated.’’ Supporters of Oriolekid sent him to an offsite rehab center where he came out re-energized about the ‘’magical powers of stopping the opponent from scoring the basketball.’’
Middling swing man William Barnard, when asked if he thought his manager was ready, "Man, I’m just happy to be here.’’
So with his players split, and enemies galore, will Oriolekid finally win U21 manager? Who knows, but he was able to be reached for comment.
"For the love of God, please vote for me. I’ve been trying for 43 seasons. You hear that? That’s no basketball, that’s my knee. I am NOT a young man anymore. Unlike the players I will hopefully be coaching.’’
