Error Leads to GP in III.15 and Deaths of GP Organization/League IV.1 Manager

The stillness after the buzzer sound was unnerving. The Green Peppers once again lost in the first round of the playoffs, marking a franchise that boasts a 37-7 league play record with an 0-2 mark in the playoffs. After a 21-1 regular season record, GP once again was embarrassed at the hands of the Great 8 of League IV.1. All hope had been lost and preparations had been made to start preparing for an offseason of waiting. Then…a miracle. A voicemail from the League IV.1 manager at 7:15 AM.

“Hey coach….so….um….I forgot to send the promotion teams to BB HQ….last night was the deadline and I was already out clubbin. I asked the locals was it the Red Peppers or Green ones that were supposed to advance? I honestly don’t remember what happened next but I woke up to the submission of GP and I can’t change it. Lol So I guess you’re moving on and wait is that Coach BJ in the dri……*click*”

The organization rejoiced! Fireworks all across town. The streets flooded with mayhem as the Green Peppers advanced without ever winning a League IV.1 playoff game.

Then the realization…..it can all be summed up in a simple quote from the GM.

“Coach….*gulp*….these guys look tough”
