Punishers won its 2nd PPL Championship after defeating heavy favored USPS Mailers in game 2 84-68. Punishers won both games 1 and 2 to claim the season 54 PPL trophy.
Punishers also dethroned O-Beshimi few weeks ago after a lopsided victory over the defending Philippine Cup Champions. That is the second Philippine Cup trophy of the franchise after winning its first Philippine Cup championship way back season 44.

Tasoulis Varveris named Finals MVP he scored 33 points and 10 rebounds he also scored 40 points 6 rebounds 2 assist and 4 steals in game 1 while Eric “The Torque” Turquin also had a big game for the Punishers he scored 22 points grabbed 20 rebounds.
