39 Seasons

For the first time in 39 years the Mountain Eagles have finally broke through into the NBBA! After a close Game 2 Finals match against Persevering Pride, the Eagles pulled away to obtain a 94-77 win. For the first time fans have witnessed such a feat, as time after time previous teams fell just short...

In the Jerry Vinson era, the team was plagued by bad luck and talented rosters. With Vinson himself and sidekick Nonato Inayan both reaching enormous salaries, tough had to clean slate and bring forth another chapter after aimlessly fading away in division 2...

It brung forth the Mrosla era, led by NT phenom Philip Mrosla, who would develop to have a legendary career. A legendary career in which he led the team in points, however also led them to frustrating and heartbreaking defeats. He fell at the hands of future NBBA teams Atelier & ETBU Tigers, while also aggravating an injury leading up to his last shot at a Division 3 title against the Milwaukee Lethargy. Ultimately he would be shipped off to continue his historic career with the US National Team and have his fair share of the spotlight in the NBBA, scorching teams with his insane jump shooting and vaunted perimeter defense. The Eagles went out with a whimper to the depths of Division 4....

A new star was being developed in the trenches. With analytical data and new training regimens brought forth from tough, Kristian Palsson would lead the Eagles back into Division 3 with his innate ability to not just score the rock, but also play defense with tenacity and block shots like no other. His all around game meshed well with the likes of "Apex" Sahabettin & U21 Champion PF John R Kelly. Future star acquisitions in John Moore & Henk-Jan Holtkamp aided in the Eagles making the jump from a Division 3 Regular into a D2 Title contender. The veteran leadership of Benny Buscarinu & the emergence of former #1 pick Theodore Oullette powered the bench. The Eagles were ready for battle...

An underrated acquisition of Cedric Bouvart and a surprise Swedish NT Appearance from Palsson gave new life to the team. Not only were they going on all cylinders, but they were hungry for more. "We're not just making playoffs. We're going to destroy them in playoffs" explained Palsson in an interview leading up to their first series match against Insert Names. The Mountain Eagles would beat their first 2 opponents by an average score of 67! However the Big 8 remained quite competitive, with the historic Myopic Marauders and the challenging Persevering Pride standing in their way.

It would be the Pride that'd be facing the Eagles off, with homecourt advantage swinging their way for Games 1 and 3. It didn't phase the Eagles though. Game 1 was led by Holtkamp dunking all over Irving Jones throughout the game, securing 24 points while TO and R Kelly patrolled the paint, erasing 11 blocks as a unit and grabbing a win away from Dodge Arena. Game 2 would be an offensive showcase, led by Bouvart's 30 points. He wouldn't be the MVP of the evening though.

A full circle moment arrived for the Mountain Eagles. Way back in Season 48 dawned the infamous "4-19" Game by Mrosla, which sent shockwaves throughout the BB world and became known as one of the greatest meltdowns known into BB existence. The MVP this evening? Kristian Palsson, who ended up shooting 13-19 with a very efficient 28 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks. "I don't look at the history man. The past is the past. Can't rewrite that. But you can control the future. My team needed me big and I came up big." Explained Palsson as he received the Finals MVP trophy from the commissioner.

The Eagles go into the NBBA with great expectations. Battles with new rivals will ensue. The competition will be fierce, but GM tough is ready f
