Your thinking is correct, if you're just training "normal" players (generally players lower than MVP potential) then a level 4 trainer is likely the best one for the job. High-level trainers can be good for getting a few extra pops by the end of their career for a NT/HOF guy, but your average trainee is not going to benefit nearly enough for the cost.

If your trainer still has a fairly low salary then there's no harm keeping him for a bit longer, but if he's getting expensive (perhaps $60-70k weekly salary) then you could fire him and hire a cheaper one.

Ok thanks for the response! Only costing me 45k weekly right now, so still manageable, but I would except to see atleast 1 pop minimum a week for that level, even it’s only perennial all start and superstar trainees.

No problem! I haven't looked at the exact difference but I think you can expect something like 1 extra pop / season if the player is young.

With an 18 year old and the best trainers you will likely see a pop most weeks, but not every single week. Maybe if training something like 1v1F where there are four possible skills that could pop.
