Hey all! I'm actually a veteran of USA III.12, was here from Seasons 34 through 42.

I see Cal Bulldogs has successfully been blown up since and risen back to D.III on course for a D.II return since Season 56 didn't finish so well. I own a slight edge in our historic matchups, but see that could change in one season here. the big 8 as a whole looks pretty darn competetive, especially at the top. I also recongize Swamp Things, who beat up my Chunks really badly in a couple of III.12 seasons in my last two seasons here way back when.

California Crows, we were in the Lets fun PL last year, you managed to finish 0-30 in that league!

Da Dawgs, I'm sure we've been in a couple of leagues together, too over the years.

And then there's the Windy City Heroes. Wow, a team that's been around almost as long as mine. We were in D.IV together in Season 6, the first time I'd won a league title, which was your very first season. This is incredible that after all this time we're back in a league together.

This is gonna be fun. I love this game!

Good luck all. Enjoy!

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Part of me was instantly unhappy that we drew the best demoting team. I remember you and your team from my previous stint in BB 10 years ago or so. I was hoping for a softer opponent, but good to see a familiar face!

And ... roman numerals! Fancy!

I'm sure there were other better demoting teams. I was treading water up in D.II and purposely got my team younger with the idea that I'd either save up enough cash to punch through to the NBBA in a couple of more seasons or eke back down to D.III with a core that could still complete for at least a few seasons and few dollars in the bank... and not immediately fail if I got back to D.II quickly. I just wish I didn't fall down to such a tough conference here! My very first game in this league is on the road against a team that still gives me nightmares and they're sporting a $100k PF??? And a scary starting lineup? Makes me feel like I haven't completely left D.II.

@chihorn There are definitely more familiar faces than not. I think only 4 teams in the league are ones that I have not faced at some point in prior seasons. There has been a bit of a bottleneck in this particular division. So we have some really good teams, and managers. It is a great place to train young guards though. So don't let that money burn a hole in your pocket just yet. ;)

@coco I am very glad I don't have to go against your old team. I am pretty sure they would murder my team without breaking a sweat.

They are now in their mid sixties, sitting in retirement in front of a Caribbean beach ;)

New York Chunks @ Swamp Things is quite the marquee match to begin the season!

I joined that private league when I came back a year or two ago. I now have learned to look more closely at private league invites!

Yeah, you're fielding a much more competetive team now! But this conference looks like a real meat grinder. At least it's impossible lose 30 games in one season.

I always glad to be in the same league as you! I enjoy your frienfly banter. The Nig 8 will be tough to win don't see anybody winning 20 games or more.
