Last season we fizzled out, completely overmatched by the competition, including countries we usually put away quite easily. We somehow managed a couple surprise victories, but our season was terrible overall. Our players were poorly trained, not offering any offensive punch, and in many cases, not enough defense either. Our entire roster had 1 player with higher than 12 OD. I could play 3-2 zone and guess outside offense every game and we would still get torched. Quite a laughable team.
This season we have better players and for the first time I can remember, we don't play in the second chance world cup qualifiers, so we start this season's tournament at 0-0 instead of 0-2.
