United States 92-86 PolandWEEEEEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONSSSSSSS!!!!!! WOW what a game that was. I quite literally could not even watch. We went down by a huge chunk of points (17 I think?) in the first quarter, and went into the 4th quarter down 10. We stayed true to our identity all season which was our 4th quarter comebacks and made another one work today. Defense struggled more today than it has all season, but stood strong in the critical moments and offense was able to score when needed. Ransom led the team by a longshot in scoring, with 22 points and the next closest being Colon with 13. Calderon and Penn struggled heavily until the 4th, but when it came down to it they locked up the paint, grabbed the necessary boards and even snagged themselves a few dunks. Poland seemed a bit tired in the end and could not close.
And that does it for my term folks. 13-0 in Season 56 Americas and 11-0 in Season 57 Worlds put me at a perfect 24-0 in official matches. I could not have done it without all of my trainers who built these players and kept them in good GS throughout the seasons, along with my staff with whom I carefully discussed these crucial games. This is our first Worlds gold since Season 29, which was 7.5 years ago.
I hope you all don't think I am done.....I AM RUNNING IT BACK GOING FOR THE BACK TO BACK. LETS GOOOOOO
