United States 107 - 51 Ecuador
Nice and easy going win for us today, and we saw the debut of Kurt Arroyo in the starting lineup at SF! Arroyo put together a very nice game, shooting 6-11 for 13 points, and also grabbing 6 rebounds. We had just about as balanced of a scoring output as you can get from our team. Outside of Mac Benjamin hitting his stellar 1 FT, the other 9 players on the roster scored between 9 and 14 points. Another good showing from downtown at 4-8 shooting, and much improved FT shooting for the team as a whole which was nice to see. Defense was also on point, holding Ecuador to 25% shooting from the field.
Next week is our bye week, and we currently sit atop our group in 1st place. We may not have a game next week but you better believe we are holding practice. We have a lot we can improve on and we are always striving to be better!
