Thanks to the good results of last season, the Asian championship will be held in Thailand.It's a great honour to host this championship.

It will be a great experience for our Thaïgers. Indeed, our team will be completed by very young players.
- 21 yo : 3-5 players
- 20 yo : 4 players
- 19 yo : a fantastic generation is coming...

Thaïgers have been invited at the Mamma mia cup.

4 games, 4 defeats vs Austria, Scotland, Switzerland and Scotland again. A good training for this new team.

Tha Asian Championship will begin next week. The draw placed us in group A with :
Kazakhstan, China, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Iran and Libanon.
To reach the second round, we have to be in the top four.

1st game, 1st win.
Thaïgers were not at the top but our team defeated Kazakhstan 89-76 : (63272). It was important to begin with a positive result.
Nuttapit "Bip Bip" Yasab scored 31 pts. Our starting five was very young for this kind of game.

Next game vs China. More difficult...

2nd game, 1st defeat...
An excellent first half of the game. Then a resistance less and less strong : 81-112 (63277).

I'm rather satisfied because our young Thaïgers are making progress. We played this game with only one 21 yo in the starting five and another one in the second team.

Versus China, our best scorers are Song Congwei (20 yo) and Panupong Kamoltip (19 yo).

Next game Vs Saudi Arabia.

Players have been better than the coach : 106-67 (63279)

Despite bad tactical choice, Thaïgers Thaïgers played a good game.
One more time, I'm satisfied by our young players. Sumet Saotao (20 yo), Panupong Kamoltip and Sawat Sunya (19 yo). Sawat is the best scorer of the game. If these guys keep on serious training...

Next game Vs Malaysia.

4th game, 2nd defeat...

A closed game versus Malaysia. We were not so far but our team was too weak inside.
91-97 (63281)

We missed two important players because of injuries. Song Congwei and Thanin Siriwittaya. Regrets.

Suttipong Jarusombat (19 yo) was starter for the first time. 5 out of 10 players are 19 yo. If we could keep all these good training...

Scrimmage next week.

One more time, youth has been efficient.
Song Congwei, 33 pts.
Panupong Kamoltip, 16 pts.

Inthanon Chernyim was the the only 21 yo player

Performances are on a good way.
